Training manager appointed in India

EDS Technologies, India's largest Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Solutions and 3D Visual Simulation provider, has announced the appointment of G C Vijayakumar as Country Head - Training

Based in Bangalore, Vijayakumar will be focusing specifically on strategies for setting up training centres and finishing schools across the country.

Prior to joining EDS Technologies, Vijayakumar was working at Vellore Institute of Technology as a Training Manager.

Welcoming G C Vijayakumar to EDST, Senthil, President and Co-founder, EDS Technologies said, "EDST is privileged to have Vijayakumar on Board.

His experience in breadth and depth of training will be driving the training centre and finishing school initiatives".

G C Vijayakumar is a Mechanical Engineer with an ME (Machine Design) and an MBA (Finance) from Southeastern University, Washington, DC.

He has 23 years of rich experience in training and academics and has been instrumental in planning, designing, organizing, coordinating and conducting various training programmes on technical and soft skills for students, corporates and trainers during his tenure with different organizations.

He was a Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore and as a Senior Lecturer in Industrial Engineering Department at Southeastern University, Washington.
