Elfab wins exclusive contract with
GlaxoSmithKline
Europe's leading pressure-safety specialist, Elfab, has signed a preferred supplier partnership agreement with GlaxoSmithKline in Cork, for the supply of bursting disc and detection systems in Ireland
Europe's leading pressure-safety specialist, Elfab, has signed a preferred supplier partnership agreement with GlaxoSmithKline in Cork The two-year agreement confirms Elfab as the exclusive supplier of bursting disc and detection systems to the GSK primary manufacturing facilities in Ireland
All new build and development projects at the site will be completed with Elfab bursting discs, while existing installations will undergo a phased upgrade programme to Elfab devices, with the majority being converted to the Elfab premium product, Opti-Gard.
Two main factors secured the contract: firstly the Opti-Gard industry-leading performance range and manufacturing tolerances - which form the basis of a rationalisation programme - and secondly, but just as significant, the Elfab unique Integral Flo-Tel detection system.
