Series 1202 BH versions are 2mm thick and develop a maximum torque of 0.07 mNm.
These motors can run at up to 60,000 rpm and are designed for use at voltages between 5V and 15V.
The even smaller Series 1202 BS motors, which are just 1.83mm thick, have a maximum torque of 0.05mNm and a maximum operating speed of 20,000 rpm.
These models operate from supplies in the range 2.7V to 5.5V.
Motors in both series can be supplied in autoclavable and vacuum-rated versions for medical and similar applications, as well as in standard versions for more general use.
All Penny Motors feature brushless electronic commutation, giving long life, and the ironless stator coil ensures complete freedom from cogging as well as high efficiency and low current consumption.
EMS represents all the products from the micro drive specialist Faulhaber and its group companies, including the sophisticated electronic control systems that provide the Penny Motors with smooth and accurate speed control from standstill up to full operating speed.
