Two ranges of product are available, one being pipe hanger clamps used with threaded support rods.
The second version is designed for a simple positive twist-fit into standard (41 x 41 or 41 x 21) framing channel.
Apache pipe clamps are suitable for both supported and suspended loads.
When used with framing channel installed vertically, a channel nut is used to prevent slippage of the clamp.
Sixteen pipe clamps are available in each range, covering standard and non-standard pipe sizes from 15mm to 171mm outside diameter and all imperial sizes up to 6" bore.
Manufactured from high-strength black polyamide material, this one-piece clamp design features fully captive components and requires no tools for fitting.
The polyamide material is particularly suited for use with plastic pipework as it eliminates chafing or the need for using liners which can lead to stress fractures caused by plasticiser migration.
A good chemical resistance is also offered, together with operation at elevated temperatures.
Safe working loads depend upon pipework diameters and range from 17 up to 130 kgf, with a minimum 10:1 load safety factor.
The full range of Apache products is also available exclusively from BSS which supplies the industrial, commercial and process industry construction and maintenance markets through its 58 branches in the UK and Ireland.
