Elesta UK has a base in the Thames Valley and the founder and staff have over 50 years experience in the building management market.
It will operate through a network of System Partners throughout the UK and Ireland.
Already a network is being established with a number of selected System Partners being trained in the Elesta training centre in Konstanz, Germany.
Within weeks of the trained System Partners return to the UK all secured their first project orders using Elesta products.
A full range of products are available in the Elesta Contolesta product family for small, medium and large installations.
Advantages include: Small low cost controllers; Intranet and internet technology; PC network technology; Standard communication technology; no expensive programming tools are necessary.
In addition, many protocols are built-in as standard, including Modbus, WILO and Grundfos pumps, M-Bus, SMS and GSM, Belimo MP-Bus and Fidelio hotel management system.
* The Trick With The Click! One of the products in the Elesta product family Contolesta which is already taking the market by storm is the RCO Compact.
As soon as the pre-programmed application is selected via the display and a click of the knob, the Controller is completely set up.
All inputs and outputs are defined according to the selected function and the display shows only the specific menus to the application.
It makes an ideal replacement controller as you can also select to use the existing manufacturers sensors.
Small in size and low cost , the Controller can be networked without additional hardware and software costs or integrated into a full BMS.
Elesta will be exhibiting major new products at Light and Building in Frankfurt from 23-27 April 2006.
(Hall: 9.0 Walkway: B Stand: 65) Elesta will launch their new RCO-ER range of intelligent room controllers.
The low-cost room controllers with integrated remote control can be used in a stand-alone mode or as a network component of the Contolesta product family.
The stand-alone single room controllers can also be used as programmable slave modules via a master controller extending its flexibility of use.
In interaction with a master controller all variable parameters are adjustable such as the PID loop, heating and cooling function with dead zone as well as further parameters.
Time schedules for individual rooms are also programmable and parameters can be set.
The RCO-ER range of intelligent room controllers can be used for control of heating, cooling and ventilation in a wide scope of building automation application.
Control of heating and cooling valves are selectable by a Jumper between 2 point and 0-10V.
Two digital inputs can be used for windows and presence contact.
A unitary fan can be controlled with 0 - 10V signal or a separate relay.
Further models will be available with remote cable sensors for the option of sensing return air temperature in for example fan coil units.
Controllers have a two-piece housing for wall mounting, consisting of a ground plate with screw terminals and a front plate with snatch shutter.
The outer section with inserted electronics can be simply attached during commissioning.
With the introduction of the RCO-ER Elesta follows its concept of decentralised intelligence into single room control.
