The operations and maintenance savings delivered by use of the GX valve system with the new integrally mounted Fisher Fieldvue DVC2000 digital valve controller reduces total cost of ownership.
The combination provides a final control solution that is easy to apply, and simplifies operation and maintenance.
A multi-lingual product configurator is free with the design GX; it enables complete specification of the valve system, simplifying valve sizing and automating actuator selection.
Integrated options, including a position transmitter and limit switches also help to simplify selection by reducing the need for additional engineering and specification.
The push-button interface of the DVC2000 and the multi-lingual local display simplify operation by enabling local configuration and set up, while its linkage-less position feedback system simplifies calibration.
Built-in real-time diagnostics and valve performance monitoring enables the GX with Fieldvue to deliver valve and process health information to help users improve plant operations and maintenance.
The combination is also a critical component that powers Emerson PlantWeb digital plant architecture to help users move toward a more efficient predictive plant maintenance approach.
Live-loaded PTFE V-ring stem packing is standard within the GX to provide superior sealing and extended service life.
Graphite based packing and an extension bonnet are available for temperatures above 232C.
Many common parts are used across all GX sizes further simplifying maintenance and reducing stocking requirements.
Instrument mounting on the design GX is in accordance with Namur standards.
Available to meet ANSI standards as well as EN, the GX is available in sizes from DN15 to DN200 (0.5 - 8 inch) and pressure classes are available in PN10-40 and Class 150-300.
Shutoff can be specified to meet class IV, V or VI.
Valve body flow passages are optimised for flow stability and high capacity.
