Emerson at Foodex in the NEC will be showing the Micro Motion range of mass flow measurement instrumentation, which has a significant presence in Food and Beverage applications

Emerson Process Management will be exhibiting at the Foodex and Meatex Show at the NEC, Birmingham from 14-17 March, positioned on stand 5246 in Hall 5 Primarily showing the Micro Motion range of mass flow measurement instrumentation, which has a significant presence in Food and Beverage applications, there will also be products on show from other brands within Emerson

Rosemount Measurement products on display will include hygienic temperature and pressure sensors, plus there will be Baumann and Fisher valves and regulators, and DeltaV systems.

The innovative batch software process capabilities of DeltaV have particularly been applied to the brewing industry, and were expanded with the recent alliance formed with Heinrich Huppmann on brewery automation business.

Over 60,000 Micro Motion mass flow and density meters are installed in food and beverage facilities around the world.

Applications include.

100% of the major cola manufacturers.

21 of the top 25 food and beverage companies.

5 of the top 10 brewers in the world.

Micro Motion meters are installed in dairy, food, beverage, meat and other hygienic applications, monitoring deliveries and controlling processes involving liquids, suspensions, semi-solids and pastes of all forms.

Several of the families of Micro Motion meters have EHEDG and 3-A certification.

Emerson Multi-Variable Digital Technology means that Micro Motion mass flow measurement systems also provide measurements of density, temperature, mass and volume flow, using conventional outputs, fieldbus systems and Modbus protocols.

Enhanced density measurements can derive process fluid specific gravity, alcohol content, % solids, and present such measurements as degrees Brix, Plato or Baume, for immediate operator interfaces and on-line product analysis.

Emerson will demonstrate at Foodex that they can provide the analysis and process control capabilities needed for the full range of food and beverage processing and instrumentation requirements.

Part of this range will be presented on a purpose built demonstration model, showing various sensors suitable for this industry, complete with a PlantWeb automation system using a DeltaV. Request free introductory details about products from Emerson Process Management ...
