Emerson Process Management announces an alliance with OSIsoft that will enable manufacturers to more quickly and accurately respond to business issues, reduce costs, enhance productivity and drive profitability.

Whether automating new facilities or upgrading existing systems, the alliance enables Emerson and OSIsoft customers to link their process automation systems with real-time operational data from OSIsoft, the leading provider of real-time performance management software.

The alliance also provides a solid foundation for continuously improving engineering, consulting, project management and maintenance services.

Emerson and OSIsoft will provide comprehensive solutions comprised of Emerson PlantWeb digital plant architecture and OSIsoft Real-time Information Management software (RtPM).

Emerson PlantWeb uses state-of-the-art systems, software and intelligent field devices to deliver real-time automation and performance information to personnel running manufacturing facilities.

OSIsoft provides an unmatched software platform to help plant personnel capture, analyse, distribute and visualise real-time information so decisions can be made rapidly to maximise productivity.
