Emerson Process Management announces that David Newman has joined the company's global industry sales organisation as Operations Consultant for the oil and gas industries in Europe

Emerson Process Management announces that David Newman has joined the company's global industry sales organisation as Operations Consultant for the oil and gas industries in Europe For the last seven years, David Newman has been Operations Director for the Emerson Metco Services subsidiary, based in Aberdeen, Scotland

David Newman holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in instrumentation and electronics, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Open University in the UK.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Measurement and Control, a chartered engineer and a European engineer.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Schellekens, Vice President, global industry sales, for Emerson said, "The combination of David's industry knowledge and extensive experience, which includes time spent in America, the Far East, and Russia, is a perfect fit for this challenging role.
