Emerson Process Management has announced next generation MVD technology and sensor-transmitter design innovations that set new industry standards for accuracy, stability, and versatility in their Micro Motion Coriolis flow meter range.

Furthermore, the advances deliver breakthroughs such as entrained gas measurement performance that extend valuable Coriolis benefits to a broader range of applications.

The new MVD technology from Emerson boosts Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeter performance to the industry's highest ever levels of mass and flow accuracy, and doubles density accuracy.

Breakthroughs extend the unprecedented Coriolis flowmeter performance to previously insoluble applications in bubble flow, slug flow, and empty-full-empty batch applications.

Further, patented self-verification technology has been released that enables user benefits from in-situ assessment of calibration and health of the Micro Motion Elite Coriolis flowmeters, another unique capability.

Complementing the performance and application enhancements, Emerson announced a new integral Model 2400S transmitter, with next generation MVD technology, that increases the installation flexibility of Micro Motion Elite meters.

The next generation MVD technology is available on the Micro Motion Elite flowmeter that has long been the Coriolis leader in quality, measurement performance, and reliability.
