Micro Motion meets new standards for
European use

The approval simplifies and streamlines order processing as standard products will be suitable for installation in any European country.
Emerson is committed to ensuring all of its products meet the latest industry standards, and its Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeters are the first to obtain an EC type examination certificate for gas meters and an MID evaluation certificate for liquid meters when used as part of a measuring system.
In addition, Emerson Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeters are the only flowmeters that have an MID certificate for a complete industrial liquid metering skid when these are supplied by Emerson.
Having European approvals and certificates in place is important since under the MID, liquid measurement systems for industrial applications are all unique and an EC examination certificate has to be gained for each one.
Should the end user or project contractor choose to take responsibility for the complete measuring system, then Emerson, based on its significant experience in the fiscal flow measurement market, is able to assist in obtaining the type examination certificate for their system.
