Communicator software adds German interface
Emerson's handheld 475 Field Communicator version 3.2 now supports the German language version of its system software and Easy Upgrade capability.
The 475 Field Communicator provides advanced device-diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities in the field and on the bench.
With a faster boot-up and operating system, jobs can be performed quickly and easily while the new battery ensures days of operation.
The intrinsically safe 475 Field Communicator supports Hart, Wirelesshart, and Foundation fieldbus devices.
The Valvelink Mobile application within the 475 Field Communicator allows users to access predictive diagnostics from Fisher Fieldvue digital valve controllers in the field and transfer the results to the AMS Suite predictive-maintenance application, for additional analysis and documentation.
Users can follow simple instructions to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot valves, and run diagnostics such as Stroke Valve, Step Response and Valve Signature on the entire valve assembly.
The full-colour LCD display provides an intuitive graphical interface to support trend charts, gauges and graphics available in enhanced device descriptions.
The colour display aids troubleshooting through high-contrast images.
Users can also store up to 1,000 device configurations in the 475 Field Communicator or transmit them wirelessly through Bluetooth communication to a PC for printing and storage.
The Easy Upgrade capability provides an interface for users to quickly and easily update their communicator as new software updates and device descriptions become available.
