Euromixers unique mixing system is designed for use on standard transportable container (IBC) to quickly re-suspend the container contents, following settling out during transport or storage
Re-suspend and mix liquids settled in IBCs
Euromixers announce a new range of innovative mixers designed for stirring and agitating the liquids contained in standard transportable intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) with 150mm screw-caps
Frequently mixers have quick-connect removable drives, so that each element can be dismantled for sterilisation in an autoclave," said Howard: "In many cases the motors driving the mixers are cleaned with sterilised wipes or a high pressure water jet, but hygienists and production personnel have not been happy with the motor design due to crevices and external painted surfaces".
Following discussions between Euromixers and AEG, the new Marlin Stainless motor has just been introduced, with many of the features that Howard has been looking for, when incorporated into the Euromixers designs: "Its rare to get anything that is really new and exciting, a good step forward " said Howard, "But we are now able to specify and quote for the specification of the mixing systems that the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industry have been demanding for some time.
They don't have any painted surfaces, they have smooth external surfaces with no bug-traps, that can be easily and effectively sterilised.
Euromixers are now able to supply an overall package of standard and bespoke stainless steel mixing equipment that fully meets the requirements of production, chemists and Quality Assurance personnel, when installed on site.
What's more these systems are available on very short lead times when needed, like 4 weeks." Euromixers is confident that recent design proposals for two new pharmaceutical projects will be installed and in operation early next year. Request a free brochure from Euromixers ...
"The pharma and cosmetics industries are taking the lead in improving their production/mixing systems, and here hygiene is critically important" said Howard: "but there is as much interest in our systems from the food and drink industry, where a totally stainless steel mixer, suitable for high pressure wash -down at the end of the shift, without the risk of paint chips contaminating the product, would provide significant benefits.".
