Transform your IBC into a versatile mixing vessel

An Euromixers product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Apr 22, 2008

The unique Euromixers range of IBC mixers have been designed for use in industry standard 800 and 1000 litre Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) with a 150mm screwed cap

The E-400 folding impeller fits through the standard opening on this IBC to transform it into a versatile mixing vessel, quickly re-mixing the contents when they have settled out during transport and storage, for uniform discharge or process use.

For a limited period Euromixers are offering these units on a free trial basis, to allow you the experience of a demonstration system in your plant.

Improved performance and consistency together with significant cost savings on transfer and cleaning time are the benefits reported by numerous users on a wide range of applications.

These have included: dyestuffs and pigments, paints and varnish, water treatment chemicals and flocculants, chemical industries.

Options include a powder hopper and liquid inlets for the addition of powders or liquids into the IBC with the mixer in place, which can be included onto the mounting frame.

E-400 folding impellers are suitable for a wide variety of applications including viscous liquids; settled solids and slurries that need to be stirred or agitated, mixed or homogenised.

Dual impellers can be fitted for more effective mixing of viscous products.

Electric and air drive IBC mixers are available mounted on a lightweight stainless steel frame, which is secured to the IBC with quick action toggle clamps: an eye bolt is provided for lifting, with optional fork lift modules for easy handling using a fork lift truck.

Free trials are being offered by Euromixers to demonstrate the benefits that can be achieved with these systems, and to ensure mixers meet the specific needs of your fluids: please phone or e-mail, or use the reader response service, and our engineers will be pleased to help.
