Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jun 11, 2009

The council of Helsingborg, where Emotron's head office is located, has awarded the company its environmental prize for contributions to reducing energy consumption.

Emotron offers solutions that can reduce the energy consumption of electric-motor driven systems by up to 50 per cent.

The municipal council of Helsingborg awards an annual environmental prize to a local organisation, company or individual that has made significant environmentally friendly achievements, with emphasis on the contribution to implementing the city's environmental programme.

This year's prize was shared between Emotron and Ann-Cathrine Karlsson, for her engagement in developing systematic environmental work at Helsingborg hospital, resulting in energy savings of 20 per cent.
