Micropilot M is at home in demanding applications
Endress+Hauser has extended their radar level gauges to allow measurement of powdery to granular bulk solids at up to 70m range, despite conditions such as dust, filling noise and temperature layers
In response to customer demand, Endress+Hauser has extended its range of radar level gauges to allow measurement of powdery to granular bulk solids up to 70m.
Like the rest of the Micropilot M range, the non-contact FMR250 is perfectly at home in demanding applications.
Conditions such as dust, filling noise, temperature layers and gas stratification won't prevent it from delivering the highest measurement integrity.
Measuring up to 70m, it's ideal for high silos containing dusty solids such as cement, animal feed or even highly abrasive bulks such as ferrite.
The key to the Micropilot success is its integrated echo platform which allows step-by-step commissioning, easy analysis and system optimisation, and the ability to document the specific measuring point as part of quality procedures.
Setting up really couldn't be simpler - the local display asks you easy questions and gives various answer options.
Just select the ones that apply to you.
For added security you can see exactly what the Micropilot M sees by viewing the envelope curve on the local display.
Everything about it has been designed with the user needs in mind.
The 2-wire FMR250 offers true versatility.
It is available in two versions: with a horn antenna for level measurement in narrower applications and a parabolic antenna with 4 degree beam angle focusing for longer ranges.
It also features an integrated air purge as standard - ideal for applications which generate dust build-up and a top target positioner which can be adapted to angled surfaces, minimising interference reflections.
