Accuracy at higher flow rates? How about
250mm?

Promass has become a by-word for the qualities you need from a flowmeter - accuracy, reliability and repeatability, together with simple installation and robust 'fit and forget' capabilities

Promass has become a by-word for the qualities you need from a flowmeter - accuracy, reliability and repeatability, together with simple installation and robust 'fit and forget' capabilities Now comes an extra dimension to the Promass story - a larger size

Before, Promass Coriolis meters ranged from size 1/24 inch (DN1) up to 6 inch (DN150).

With the introduction of our new Promass F 10 inch (DN250) sensor, Promass technology is now capable of handling flow rates up to 2,200 tonnes per hour, opening up a host of application possibilities.

The 10 inch Promass F is the perfect solution when you need to measure liquids (such as ship-loading of hydrocarbons) and gases (such as natural gas transfer pipelines).

The instrument features total mass flow, fluid density and fluid temperature as primary measuring variables.

By using even its basic electronics, you can calculate derived values such as totalised mass, volume flow or standardised volume flow.

Add the extended electronics functionality, and even more complex calculations become possible such as concentration measurement (for example, the percentage of solid concentration in a slurry).

All variables can be transferred by a highly flexible choice of output combinations, including up to three current outputs, and digital communication is available via Modbus, Profibus or Foundation Fieldbus.

The Promass range of Coriolis meters is also equipped with extensive diagnostics capabilities to ensure safe and accurate operation.

Promass F offers the same 'fit and forget' design which has become a trademark of the Promass sensor family.

This compact instrument is simple to install, needing no vibration isolation or any other special procedures.

It also conforms to PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) and carries ATEX, FM and CSA hazardous area approvals.

With the Promass 84 transmitter featuring NMI and PTB approvals to OIML R117, the meter also can be used for custody transfer and fiscal metering applications. Request a free brochure from Endress + Hauser ...
