The new hygienic Promass S Coriolis flowmeter
At the forefront in hygienic design, the new Endress+Hauser Promass S Coriolis mass flowmeter meets all possible hygienic requirements for use in the food and beverage industry
Available as a compact, extension tube or cable version, it provides reliable level measurement from 145mm to 20m in solids applications ranging from cement, mortar and dye powders to powdered milk, sugar and animal feed.
Using the vibrating fork principle with no mechanically moving parts, Soliphant M is virtually maintenance-free.
It is insensitive to external vibrations and build-up, offering a long service life.
However, the real Soliphant M bonus is its integrated self-checking function.
This allows the user to monitor the whole system, even down to the fork assembly, without having to climb to the top of the silo! This not only reduces time spent on manual checking, but it also minimises the potential for accidents at work - and all without the need to install fieldbus systems.
The self-check also eliminates environmental concerns since, at the push of a button on the bottom of the silo, overspills and dust can be easily prevented.
The Soliphant M remarkable versatility even extends to detecting solids levels underwater.
The probe recognises the difference between liquid and solid, and is ideal for the water industry since it only switches if covered by sand or sludge.
With its short fork version (100mm), Soliphant M can also fit into processes where space is limited. Request a free brochure from Endress + Hauser ...
