As always, the Contite sensor at the heart of the Deltapilot S delivers reliable, continuous level measurement - even in foaming media, pastes or aggressive liquids and applications with changing conductivity.
However, with new state-of-the-art electronics and improved materials, the sensor performs better than ever offering outstanding accuracy (0.1% as standard) and increased long-term stability.
With its fully encapsulated Hastelloy diaphragm, Deltapilot S offers high level immunity to corrosion, moisture ingress and EMC/RFI signals, enhancing the reliability of the measurement signal.

Liquiphant is synonymous with reliable overspill protection in liquids: its capabilities have now been extended to include density measurement
Whilst Deltapilot S is not used exclusively in the food industry, it has traditionally been favoured by the dairy and brewing industries due to its excellent performance on cold media such as milk and beer.
In addition to 3-A and EHEDG approvals, Deltapilot S has a large range of process connections (including hygienic) and weld adaptors for simple installation in process vessels or pipes.
What's more, the flush-fitted sensor ensures the meticulous standards of cleanliness are met.
Fully modular, the new Deltapilot S follows the successful 'Evolution' format of Endress+Hauser Cerabar S and Deltabar S pressure transmitters in that housing, electronics and displays are easily interchangeable to reduce stock costs and simplify maintenance procedures.
The display itself has been improved too: the 4-line plain text alphanumeric display has a large, easy to read screen.
Better still, Deltapilot S now features an easy-to-use and intuitive operation menu that is easily accessed via three pushbuttons, making set-up, commissioning and even troubleshooting a breeze! It also provides comprehensive diagnostic functions for improved process control such as fault warnings.
Encased in a fully-rotatable housing (plastic or stainless steel), it allows easy reading from any angle.
For maximum flexibility, Deltapilot S is available with both HART and Profibus communication protocols and is offered as a compact or remote version - you choose the combination you require! And, for those that need extended functionality such as historical trending (e.g events, alarms and warnings), the HistoROM memory chip option enables the storage and retrieval of important process conditions for improved process control and consistent quality.
