Enviro Technology Services announces the appointment of Phil Battye to the role of CEMS engineering manager, to cover the customer interface for monitoring systems

As a world-leading supplier of air quality, emissions and environmental monitoring systems, Enviro Technology knows the importance of communicating with its customers.

To this end, the role of CEMS engineering manager was created to ensure a smoother transition between the CEMS sales team, project managers and customer services department, thus providing customers with a point of contact from the time they place their order until their system is up and running.

Phil is a chartered engineer and member of the Institute of Measurement and Control with over 15 years of experience in monitoring.

He joins Enviro Technology from Crewe-based Protea, where he designed and built an innovative range of FTIR analysers for regulatory monitoring in his role as analyser systems manager.

Graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Fuel and Energy Engineering in 1983, Phil has also worked for Honeywell Controls and ABB.

He says: "My main role at ET is to provide the mortar between the bricks of the business, improving the communication with the customer to provide a softer interface between the different departments of the company.

Says ET's operations director, Duncan Mounsor: "Having someone like Phil in place to oversee our increasingly popular CEMS offering will increase customer confidence that we can deliver what we promise at the point of sale, and ultimately further develop our business.".
