GDF Suez Energy UK has awarded Enviro Technology a contract to supply five continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) for its Teesside-based combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power station.
With a generation capacity of 1,875MW, the power station is one of the largest CCGT plants in Europe.
Enviro Technology has supplied five OPSIS systems to measure nitrogen oxide (as NO and NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and oxygen (O2).
Associated reporting and data logging software and products have also been purchased.
