2007 version of Pipe-flo stock design programme
Engineered Software, the leading provider of software used to design and simulate the operation of fluid piping systems, has announced the release of its Pipe-flo Stock 2007 programme
Engineered Software, the leading provider of software used to design and simulate the operation of fluid piping systems, has announced the release of its Pipe-flo Stock 2007 programme.
The newly released version contains major upgrades and improvements from Stock 2005.
Pipe-flo Stock 2007 caters to piping systems transporting slurries of paper stock used in the production of paper and newsprint.
"Pipe-flo Stock 2007 is the ideal solution for anyone who designs, builds, operates or maintains paper stock piping systems," said Ray Hardee, Vice President of Engineering at Engineered Software: "Stock 2007 includes functionality improvements that allow the user to visualise, calculate, communicate and access information in one easy-to-use programme.
It's one of the few solutions out there for the paper stock industry".
Two of the major functionality improvements are the ability to import and export data from Microsoft Excel and users may now copy and paste from one piping system model to another, making expansions or merging existing models.
"The ability to create spreadsheets that automatically read design information from the piping system model and automatically update information in the model will save our customers time and money in both the design and operation of their facilities," Hardee said.
Engineered Software has spent more than 20 years listening to its customers and creating products that exceed expectations.
Pipe-flo Stock was initially created in 1997, and has since become a culmination of our developer's efforts to respond to customer feedback.
"With each new release, we have strived to provide innovative and useful features that improve the programme.
We make every effort to provide software that is valuable to this industry, and is a perfect solution to their paper stock piping system needs," Hardee added.
The Pipe-flo product line is used by designers and operators to gain a clear picture of their fluid piping systems.
The programme allows users to visualise their systems in a familiar format, calculate system operations, easily communicate the design with others and access supporting documents in electronic format.
