An Envirowise product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Aug 11, 2006

Water efficient manufacturers have just 3 weeks remaining to enter a national award scheme that recognises significant commitment to reducing business water consumption

The Industry and Business category of the Environment Agency Water Efficiency Awards 2007 is sponsored by Envirowise, which offers a programme of free, sector-specific resource efficiency advice to companies across the UK.

Contenders from all industry sectors that have made strong progress - whether through straightforward improvements such as encouraging staff to cut their day-to-day water use, or a more large-scale investment in water-saving technology - are encouraged to make an application by 31st August 2006, to enter a national award scheme that recognises significant commitment to reducing business water consumption.

Kate Gallagher, Envirowise water manager said: "Taking part in these awards gives manufacturers the chance to showcase the good work they have completed - as well as making a positive environmental statement to both customers and competitors.

The awards also highlight the fact that water efficiency is good for business and that by taking resource efficiency seriously, companies can save money and improve their competitiveness".

The Award ceremony will take place in London in March 2007 and businesses can enter online.
