Envirowise chemicals specialist Geoff Leaver said: "Environmental impact is already a key consideration for firms operating in the sector, as they need to keep on top of increasingly stringent legislation".
However, compliance is far from the only reason to prioritise the issue.
"This event will help companies to understand the real commercial and financial gains available to them.
Plus, the line up of top industry experts will give practical information and advice on areas such as resource efficiency and carbon emission reduction, which delegates can go on to apply to their own operations".
The Envirowise Conference 2007 will take place on the 5th December at The Midland Hotel, Manchester and is free for delegates.
