E-Components and Chains of Pocklington UK are pleased to announce the launch of their range of plastic housed bearings with Microban This material is effective against the most common bacteria that may affect food and cause a number of contamination problems and bad smells, like Escherichia Coli 0157, Salmonella, Listeria, S-Aureus, Campylobacter

This material is not meant to substitute the common hygienic procedures of cleaning routines, but offers additional protection in the regular plant cleaning cycle.

Lab tests have clearly demonstrated that Microban maintains its effective peculiarities for its entire life cycle.

Microban has been approved for use in direct contact with edible organic foods by the Scientific Committee for Food (SCF) of the EU: in the United States the Environment Protection Agency has approved its application in the transfer chains process.

Square, Oval and Take-up styles of housings are available with inserts to suit up to 40mm diameter shaft sizes.
