The Landfill industry loses a good man, John Lerdahl, a landfill application specialist for EPG Companies Inc, who passed away on Saturday June 4, 2005.

John had worked with EPG Companies for nearly 15 years serving as a dependable employee with a deep knowledge of landfill systems operation, integration and process control equipment.

As an application specialist, John had a direct impact on EPG becoming the leader in landfill equipment manufacturing.

We are grateful for the time, energy and customer-focused sales/service support he brought to EPG as well as for the knowledge and troubleshooting expertise he taught every year at the EPG SWANA accredited Pumps and Controls Service School.

Hundreds, if not thousands of individuals were touched in some way by John's devoted service.

We all will miss his good-natured advice, personal stories and professional expertise.

If you knew John and want to share a memory, please send it to the company to be forwarded to his family and posted on their website.

A trust account is also set up for the benefit of his 9 year old son Mathew.

Please send memorial gifts to the Mathew Thomas Lerdahl Memorial.
