Emerson appoints INSTeng as local area
distributor
Emerson has formed several alliances with selected UK distributors to stock and engineer Rosemount and Micro Motion instrumentation solutions, and the latest appointment is INSTeng in South Wales

Always keen to provide methods of service and supply that match customer requirements, Emerson has formed several alliances with selected UK distributors to stock and engineer Rosemount and Micro Motion instrumentation solutions.
INSTeng Process Automation has long been associated with Emerson products, in particular in achieving flow measurement and control solutions for their clients in the South Wales area.
This relationship is now expanding, and INSTeng has become a distributor to cover the full range of Rosemount transmitters for pressure, temperature, flow and level, Micro Motion mass flow measurement systems, the Fisher GX control valve range, and Rosemount Analytical liquid measurement products.

Neal Wilkinson, Distribution Manager for Emerson, commented: "We are delighted to welcome INSTeng as an official distributor for the full range of Emerson measurement and control products, confirming the Emerson position as the major instrumentation supplier to INSTeng and their customers".
At INSTeng, the deal has meant a considerable investment in further product training for sales and service staff, and increased stock levels of finished products and spares in their Cardiff head office.
Gareth Burris, MD at INSTeng added: "This whole agreement is a significant further step in our mission to be a centre of excellence in all measurement and control solutions for our clients".
INSTeng will also continue the on-site service and systems integration activities for instrumentation, control panels and skids, that has made the company a valuable resource in supporting client projects.
Sales and service staff from Emerson Process Management will continue to support Emerson customers in South Wales, in co-operation with the INSTeng engineers and local support staff.
In other regions with similar arrangements many customers have welcomed the attention a local distributor can offer.
The additional resources now available from INSTeng in South Wales, with local contacts and stock, confirm that the customer's interests are foremost, and that this Emerson appointment is a positive move to support the region.
