Instrumentation "At Home" day in Cork
An Emerson Open day, featuring Seminars and an Exhibition, will be held at the Great Southern Hotel, Cork Airport, from 0930 to 1730 on 28 September 2005
The planned series of presentations continues the established tradition of hosting such customer group meetings at regional centres around the UK, and these events will take place at three locations between 15-17 November.
The actual locations used will be selected to match the proposed delegate attendance, from the possible listing of Middlesbrough, South Wales, Stockport, Leicester, Aberdeen, Chatham and Bognor Regis.
The customer group meetings will run from 1000-1500, with a buffet lunch and refreshments provided.
During the day, presentations will introduce the CSI 9210 machinery health transmitter, the cornerstone of machinery health management.
The CSI 9210 is the first Foundation fieldbus transmitter that diagnoses conditions including motor-pump bearing failure, coupling misalignment, motor electrical failure, pump cavitation and pump imbalance.
It delivers continuously actionable information about rotating equipment health directly into plant process control systems and asset management applications: operations and maintenance information is displayed in the DeltaV process automation system with integrated AMS Suite asset management software.
The presentation will also show how PlantWeb architecture allows field based intelligent transmitters to be integrated into AMS Machinery Manager, the latest development of the software formerly known as RBMware.
New elements now introduced are the PlantWeb Services - a number of services and support packages designed to optimise assets and maximise the value realised from the use of Emerson smart technology.
On-line registration for the seminars is available via the UK website, or by calling the UK sales office for further information.
Delegates to previous customer group meetings and anyone who has a developing interest in machinery health management will be particularly welcomed.
