Speakers Announced for Cork Pharmaceutical Event

The speakers presenting pharmaceutical plant experience of modern automation techniques, at the Manufacturing Excellence Ireland event will be drawn from across the industry in Ireland and beyond

The speakers presenting pharmaceutical plant experience of modern automation techniques, at the Manufacturing Excellence Ireland event (October 22-23 in Cork) will be drawn from across the industry in Ireland and beyond.

From Cork Alan Shefflin of Pfizer will talk about their automation experience, and there will also be a presentation from GlaxoSmithKline.

From Dublin Cormac Callaghan of Bristol-Myers Squibb will discuss automation issues on a large scale green-field pharma project, and George Skillin will talk about automation at Wyeth Grange Castle.

Ole Abildgaard of Novo Nordisk Engineering in Denmark will explain how their approach of using modular plant construction techniques has allowed fast-track construction on several recent large pharma projects, an expertise which is now being offered across the industry.

Manufacturing Excellence Ireland is scheduled for 22nd and 23rd October in the Great Southern Hotel at Cork Airport.
