Emerson have been invited to speak on Functional Safety at the forthcoming HazardEx Conference at the East of England Showground, Peterborough on the 27th and 28th February
As part of "The Great Debate" on Safety at HazardEx, the Emerson paper is entitled "People - The Vital link in Functional Safety?" A great deal is written and presented about the products that are used in Functional Safety

The current safety standards talk about competency but how can you show that you are competent to work in the industry? The presentation from Andy Crosland, a Safety Specialist in Project Solutions at Emerson, looks at the reason why people are important throughout the whole Functional Safety lifecycle, and presents some ideas on how to manage the requirements.
Andy will also be available, together with a demonstration of the DeltaV SIS system, for further discussions on stand E9 in the accompanying exhibition at HazardEx - which will also present the products from the Emerson sister company, ATX.
