Following the formation of ET2C Europe in the UK, ET2C international now seeks to replicate its success in encouraging Chinese trading partnerships on a global scale, in all other territories

ET2C International has announced a global initiative to reach out directly to companies currently operating in overseas markets, following on from the successful partnership between ET2C International in Shanghai and Uniserve Group in the UK The formation of this proposed global network of localised teams has given rise to the term 'glocal', which highlights both the global aspects of the network in its entirety as well as the local specialisation of the ET2C International partners on the ground in each individual market

Potential partners from Spain, Brazil, Romania, Australia, South Africa, Peru, Bulgaria, Hungary, Cyprus, Greece and France have already expressed significant interest coming on board, and ET2C International is aiming to create a global network of partners in 50 countries by the end of 2007.

This will of course be in addition to the current ET2C International operations in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the UK, and the US.

"This is a great example of how logistics and sourcing can go hand-in-hand to create added value for buyers worldwide," according to Jonathan Fayers, ET2C International Marketing Director in Shanghai.

'ET2C International stands to gain a lot from exchanging customer details with our local partners in each territory, driving more sourcing work for us and creating more logistics business for our partners - and this will ultimately result in better prices and better service for our mutual customers'.

The chosen logistics partners in each of the 50 countries will be able to benefit from increased shipping revenues driven by the ET2C International unique China Sourcing model, and ET2C International will benefit from having local partners who can offer its China Sourcing services to local companies.

The new initiative is to be spearheaded by Niels Fullerton-Batten, back at ET2C International as its new Business Development Manager after an 18-month break.

Niels was last seen at ET2C International in 2005 when he headed up the company's internet services division, and ET2C is delighted to have him back on the team.
