Eurotherm has announced a powerful portfolio of modular training courses, designed to increase customer understanding of control and instrumentation theory, as well as specific Eurotherm products

Eurotherm has announced a powerful portfolio of modular training courses as part of its wider customer services offering These are designed to increase customer understanding of control and instrumentation theory, as well as specific Eurotherm products

The courses, which can be delivered at customer sites, or at a new purpose built training facility at the Eurotherm Worthing headquarters, can be tailor-made to suit specific customer requirements.

Eurotherm has for the last thirty years earned an enviable international reputation for premium quality, 'fit for purpose' control products and systems.

These are derived from an in depth understanding of industrial applications and process requirements.

The company experience ranges from single machine and multi-stage process control applications to complete plant automation and offshore installations.

The initial portfolio of standard courses includes general subjects, such as control system basics, industrial networking and GAMP techniques, as well as product specific subjects addressing well known Eurotherm devices such as PID controllers and data recorders.

In addition, custom-designed courses can be created for specific customers.

These can range from a single day's "hands-on" tuition, shadowing a Eurotherm Support Engineer, to the development of a structured learning programme covering multiple products at varying levels of expertise.

Gary Arnold, from the Eurotherm training team, says that initial customer response to the new service has been excellent, and that courses are now being scheduled well into next year.

He comments: "Eurotherm control systems and instruments are specifically designed to be user friendly, however we also recognise that training will allow our customers to build technical confidence and improve the value they receive from their original purchase.

To this end, we are committed to providing a training program that addresses customer requirements and ensures the development of 'LifeTime' benefit from our products".
