Product enhancements to suit FDA validated systems
Eurotherm Limited has announced a major raft of product enhancements designed to satisfy the requirement of 21CFR Part 11 for US FDA Validation of pharmaceutical and food manufacturing processes
When commissioned in April, the plant will manufacture a range of intermediate products.
Under the terms of the contract, Eurotherm Spain is providing a control system for four intermediate production reactors currently being installed on the site.
The control system includes 8 EurothermSuite Operation Servers, five T940 Process Supervisors, and three T800 Visual Supervisors.
It also includes 2,200 I/O with the associated historical data, alarm management, and production recipes.
One of the key success factors in winning this contract was the Eurotherm ability to offer a complete solution, including validation, installation and supervision services.
The newly awarded project follows several others won over the past three years in the face of strong competition from Schneider.
As a result, Eurotherm Spain is hopeful of providing control technology for more reactors planned for the same site over the coming months.
