The new Eutech Alpha 500 series industrial 2-wire transmitter isolates its input source from its 4-20 mA output to prevent electrical noise and leakage from interfering with the output signal, and eliminates cross talk between multiple transmitters in the same loop to ensure a stable and reliable measurement and control system.

The new Alpha 500 transmitter galvanically isolates its input source from its 4-20 mA output.

With this isolation, electrical noise or leakage from an input source is totally prevented from interfering with the output signal and also eliminates cross talk between multiple transmitters in the same loop.

Simultaneous measurement of the same sample using two or more isolated transmitters can now be carried out without producing an erroneous measurement hence ensuring a stable and reliable measurement and control system.

The transmitter also offers extensive user-customisation through a set-up menu allowing flexibility in matching the transmitter functions to suit specific requirements.

In the Alpha pH 500, a symmetrical mode operation eliminates electrical noise problems when used with solution ground.

For both Alpha pH 500 and CON 500, one point online calibration is possible without the need to shut down the line.

The output current indicator for out-of-range and hold conditions enhances process control.

The Alpha 500 transmitter can be configured to emit a pre-set output current to indicate out-of-range values when pH, ORP or conductivity values exceed the range of measurement.

During calibration sequence and setup mode, the transmitter switches to hold mode where current output is held at corresponding last measured values.

Scaleable 4-20 mA output provides better resolved output at chart recorder and other peripheral device and non-volatile memory retains all stored parameters and calibration data even if power fails.

The IP65 weatherproof housing makes the Alpha 500 transmitter a versatile indoor and outdoor meter suitable for panel or wall mount.
