Handheld Europe appointed as Extech distributor
Extech Instruments has appointed Handheld Europe AB to distribute the rugged Extech portable printers in Europe
As the focus of Handheld Europe is rugged mobile computing, Extech portable printers will be a strong value-added complement.
Maxa Technologies, the Extech Master Distributor in Europe, is focusing on identifying new value-added partners for the Extech product range in Europe.
Handheld Europe is one of the leading distributors for rugged computers in the Forestry, Construction, Maintenance and Transport and Logistics industries.
Handheld Europe delivers complete IT systems for users in the field service applications within a European perspective.
"With Extech printers we can offer an even more fulfilling solution for our partners" says Thomas Lofblad, Director of Handheld Europe.
"Through our partner network we have a large number of end users within mobile ticketing, warehouse management, parking management, retail environments and hospitality, to mention some.
Just like our rugged handheld computers, Extech portable printers can withstand the demands of mobility which is a key factor for us".
Andrea Percival, Director of Maxa Technologies commented: "This new relationship with Handheld Europe is extremely promising for Maxatec and Extech, and we are pleased to have identified a company with such a strong presence in the field service arena.
We are looking forward to working closely with Handheld Europe and continue building the Extech brand in Europe".
Tony Revis, General Manager of Extech Data Systems notes: "Maxa Technology is our Master Distributor for Europe; amongst their responsibilities is to identify, train and appoint select value-added distributors in each country.
We are excited by their appointment of Handheld Europe to distribute our range of portable printers to the European market".
All Extech printers meet tough operating standards and requirements including CE and FCC compliance as well as certifications for environmental extremes and product safety.
Extech S2500THS, S3750THS, and S4500THS printers have recently achieved IEC68 certification covering environmental extremes such as temperature, humidity, shock and vibration and free fall onto steel plates.
They have also gained IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance in their respective environmental cases, indicating that the printers are protected from dust as well as water sprayed from all directions.
The mobile computers that Handheld Europe provides are dust and water protected and have ratings from IP64 to IP67.
