Extronics has built up a national identity as a supplier of process instrumentation and equipment for use in hazardous areas The year 2003 has seen company expansion into the development of wireless technology which now includes PCs, CCTV and mobile phones brought together by WLAN
ITEX is the brand that covers this developing range of products: it stands for Information Technology for Hazardous Areas.
Extronics has established an engineering department during 2003 which deals with systems build and supply, and it will play a vital role in the development of the ITEX range in the coming year.
