Extronics launches Ilite300

An Extronics product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Sep 30, 2008

Extronics has launched the Ilite300 zone 1 and 21, plug-and-play/portable linkable luminaire for gas and dust environments.

It is available in a wide range of voltages, from 24V to 254V, with either aluminium or polycarbonate end caps.

The Ilite300 can be used as a temporary portable luminaire with carrying strap, magnetic fixing brackets, stand attachment, or as a permanent fixture.

The light can be supplied pre fitted with cable, plug and mounted sockets making the Ilite300 linkable.

The Ilite300 can be used when temporary lighting in hazardous areas is needed for maintenance, tank cleaning, in confined spaces or large areas, where suitable skilled electricians are not available.

It comes fitted with compact fluorescent lamps as standard.

Traditional T8 lamps (bi-pin or single-pin) can also be supplied on request.

Emergency versions and the Ilite300T Atex-certified transformer are also available for applications that require low voltage portable equipment.
