ESTA Energy Solutions in Action autumn schedule

ESTA has confirmed details of its CPD-accredited Energy Solutions in Action conferences, which will focus on improving the operation and management of buildings, building services and process services

The UK's leading energy management trade association, ESTA (the Energy Systems Trade Association), has confirmed details of its CPD-accredited Energy Solutions in Action conferences.

Supported by the Carbon Trust, Energy Solutions in Action will focus on improving the operation and management of buildings, building services and process services.

This series of high profile one day events, targeted at energy, facilities, maintenance and purchasing as well as professionals in design and construction, is taking place at four venues around the UK during October and November 2004.

Entry is free to all pre-registered delegates.

Energy Solutions in Action will tackle the key demand-side energy issues of the day.

Leading energy sector practitioners will deliver a range of quality presentations and host special interactive energy clinics for delegates, including information on available financial and design support measures, novel metering techniques and introducing the on-site Low and Zero Carbon LZC techniques very relevant to the next issue of Building Regulations.

Featured topics will include using site based degree day figures with automatic monitoring and targeting, lighting controls and techniques to improve building services performance.

The event will allow delegates to review available technology, its financial benefits, and will also demonstrate how facilities and services in commercial, public and industrial buildings can be successfully managed to maximize energy efficiency, reduce fuel costs and minimise environmental impact.

"Energy Solutions in Action follows a proven and focused format which has worked incredibly well for delegates in the past" explains Alan Aldridge, ESTA Executive Director.

"Those with a responsibility for energy use, building costs and running existing facilities will find it beneficial.

So too will those industry professionals involved in the design of new buildings and processes".

As an added advantage, each event will qualify for four hours CPD, with CPD certificates issued to CIBSE members.

Attendance certificates will also be issued to members of other professional institutions.

Energy Solutions in Action is one of a series of premier events and conferences run by ESTA during the year; all ESTA events are highly regarded throughout the sector and well-attended by all those with an interest in improving building and process energy management and performance.
