Farnell InOne, the European subsidiary of Premier Farnell and the number one source for RoHS compliant products and information, has announced a pan-European distributor agreement with Omron Electronics, leaders in industrial automation.

The strategic partnership will see the latest Omron industrial automation components added to the already wide Farnell InOne product offering, enabling Omron to reach customers at a local level across Europe.

As an authorised Omron distributor, Farnell InOne will work closely with the industrial automation leader to introduce new products in sensors, relays, power supplies, industrial control and safety devices.

Customers will not only benefit from easy access to the enhanced product portfolio through the Farnell InOne website, but also from the wide range of support services, such as a free RoHS Bill of Materials conversion service, which Farnell InOne is able to bring to the partnership.

John Hickles, European Account Manager for Farnell InOne at Omron, comments: "Farnell InOne is a strategic partner for Omron, helping to develop our supply chain across Europe.

The signing of this agreement shows how committed both Farnell InOne and Omron are to the partnership." David Beck, Supplier Account Manager for Omron at Farnell InOne, adds: "Both Omron and Farnell InOne are dedicated to identifying market and customer requirements.

This new agreement will enable Farnell InOne to focus on developing the right product proposition in key markets throughout Europe with the full support of Omron.".
