This year's Polymer Processing Engineering conference, exhibition and process demonstrations at Bradford on July 5-6 - is a must for the UK plastics industry to attend.
'Forums such as PPE can only serve to inject more vitality and creativity into UK plastics,' says Richard Simpson, Director of Faraday Plastics.
'For those who are serious about plastics processing innovation and exploitation of good ideas - this really is a must-go event'.
Plastics processing demonstrations at Bradford over July 5-6 include.
* Moldflow MPX developments for gas assisted moulding Rondol Technologies novel technology.
* Mark II 5-tonne micromoulding machine.
* Bradford/Rondol Micromoulding.
* In Line Compounding.
* Battenfed Water-assisted Injection Moulding.
* Polymer Insights blown film bubble profile and freeze line automated measurement.
* Lasor Gmbh film image inspection system.
The PPE conference runs alongside the demonstrations and exhibition and this year features twenty four presentations over two days.
This will include material from Battenfeld, Moldflow, Schulman, Fanuc, and Birkbys Plastic - as well as polymer processing research news from leading polymer departments of European and US universities.
Low cost attendance at PPE is offered for delegates working in Small to Medium Enterprises (SME)s.
The conference is being sponsored by Faraday Plastics and is organised by the Institute of Materials Polymer Processing and Engineering Committee under the direction of Professor Phil Coates who says that 'in addition to the demonstrations, exhibition and excellent range of international speakers, PPE 05 will also see us celebrating the official opening of the new Micro and Nano Moulding Centre at Bradford, funded by Yorkshire Forward.'.
