Taking place from the 1-3 May at the NEC in Birmingham, this year's International Water and Effluent Exhibition (IWEX) includes a number of new exciting features.
Faversham House Group, the new organiser of the exhibition, has introduced a high level conference to this year's event.
Taking place on the first day of the exhibition, the theme for this addition is Sustainable Water Management.
The conference, which is being co-hosted with the Environmental Industries Commission, will open with a keynote address from Sir John Harman, chairman of the Environment Agency, on 'The Future of the Water Environment'.
This is then followed by sessions on 'Using Water Efficiently: Intelligent Water Conservation' and the 'Periodic Review 2010 - 2015: end of boom and bust?'.
In addition to the conference programme, a series of free seminars and practical workshops will run across all three days of the event.
Already confirmed are sessions on:.
* 'Water Efficiency for Businesses', hosted by Envirowise.
* 'Water Resource Efficiency and its Implications', hosted by the National Industrial Symbiosis Programme (NISP).
* 'Risk Management in the Multi-Utility Sector - better regulation, red tape or culture change', hosted by Cranfield University.
* 'Barriers to Innovation in the UK Water Industry', hosted by British Water and UKWIR with PREST.
Three of the major exhibitors signed up for this year's event are Hydro International, NORIT and Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions.
Joining these companies are over 150 other companies involved in and serving the water and waste water sector.
This year, IWEX forms part of Sustainabilitylive! - the UK's largest forum for excellence and innovation in water, environment, land and energy.
For the first time, IWEX will co-locate at the NEC with:.
* ET and ES - the Environmental Technology and Services Exhibitions.
* Nemex - National Energy Management Exhibition.
* ICU - the International Clean-Up event, tackling the issues of contaminated land, remediation and regeneration.
Expected to attract up to 10,000 visitors, the event will feature hundreds of exhibitors; a high level conference; keynote addresses; free seminars and practical workshops.
In addition, the event will provide a forum for companies to showcase their cutting-edge technologies and innovative services on the exhibition floor.
Catherine Iredale, exhibitions director for Faversham House Group, commented: "For the first time everybody working in the water, environment, land and energy sectors will be able to find the knowledge, inspiration and answers they need all in one place.
The event will give visitors the opportunity to gather the latest industry and legislative news and network with their peers.
By bringing these events together, we hope to make it easier for people working across these sectors to maximise the value of their time out of the office".
For those working in the water industry, there are a number of seminar sessions taking place at these other events which may be of interest, particularly those at ET and ES.
These include a session from Defra on their 'Simplification Initiative' to implementing better regulations and Environmental Data Services will provide a legislative overview on 'What's Coming and What You Should Know'.
Thursday includes a panel debate on 'Environment and the Law - Meeting the Challenges of the Changing Landscape'.
The Environment Agency is also making a welcome return to the event as a major exhibitor, hosting a seminar session on 'New Approaches to Permitting: Reducing Industry's Administrative Burden', as well as briefing sessions on their stand.
Joining the Environment Agency at ET and ES will be WSP Environmental, UKTI, BSI Management Systems and Envirowise.
