FCX on global stage as main Valve World sponsor

Global flow control distributor and manufacturer FCX is to be the key sponsor of the major Valve World 2004 Conference and Expo this year, and the event looks set to be one of the most significant ever for the worldwide industry.
Although FCX has been a regular exhibitor, this is the first time that it has undertaken main sponsorship of Valve World - the largest dedicated valve event drawing upwards of 6000 international visitors from a diverse range of major industries for a four-day conference and exhibition, to be held this year in Maastricht, the Netherlands, in November.
Organisers of the fourth biennial event are delighted to have FCX on board.
"As valve and actuator markets continue to evolve, Valve World visitors and conference delegates are increasingly looking for companies who can solve complex technological and logistical problems on a global scale," explained Valve World Director Donald Wiedemeyer.
"With its specialist manufacturing businesses and extensive distribution network, FCX is a perfect fit both as a major exhibitor at the event and as the major sponsor.
It goes without saying we are delighted to have them on board".
FCX Chief Executive, John Perkins is delighted to have secured the sponsorship: "Valve World is the ideal forum for FCX to demonstrate its valve capability.
Our specialist manufacturers such as FCX Orton and FCX Thompson Valves will show off their severe service products where integrity and performance are critical.
"As a global distributor, we provide an effective route to market for valve manufacturers anywhere in the world - - they should be talking to us at Valve World!".
Valve World is growing in popularity around the world and organisers are planning a Far East version - Valve World Asia - which is set to take place in Shanghai in China in May 2005 and where FCX will also be exhibiting.
This event will reflect the growing importance of the region on the global stage - not only for valve manufacture but for valve usage in an ever-increasing number of major projects.
