Operations at Cergy, Nanterre and Andilly have now all been relocated to the brand new facility as part of the medium-term plan to merge the three companies.
The stunning new facility includes a state of the art assembly and testing area tailor-made for FCX France, which will be used to rigorously test completed automated valve packages.
Warehousing and shipping facilities have been rethought and the new building also includes a single centralised IT, Finance and Administration function to cope with an increased workload.
"The new facility is a logical answer to the synergies that were obvious when FCX and Flowserve French operations were combined," explained FCX France head Graham Nation.
"It's also a vital step in our plan to merge the three valve companies during 2005".
As part of a major effort in France, the FCX Group has also entered into exclusive distribution agreements with the relevant Flowserve businesses for the sale of their products in France, including leading brands such as Argus, Atomac, Audco, Automax, Durco, Gestra, Limitorque, McCanna, NAF, Norbrol, Nordstrom, Schmidt and Worcester.
