"Wastewater flow can be as much as 18% of finished product, and this is paid for twice, as resource on its way into the process, and again as a waste stream on its way out.
Water is a critical business resource which cannot be ignored when assessing overall business costs - but how can this be quantified and acted on?" The seminar seeks to provide many of the answers and will outline those methods and technology for reducing usage that will allow businesses to improve their financial and environmental performance.
As a key note speaker Andy Grange, Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager, Britvic Soft Drinks will be exploring the many added value opportunities in utility management, waste minimisation, water conservation and environmental improvements that can stem from a close partnership with Yorkshire Water.
The day will feature speakers from, Envirowise, Whirlwind Technologies, Kaiku, Yorkshire Water, Bethan Technology and Imperial College.
