The Food Processing Faraday Partnership is the lead supporter of Food and Drink Tomorrow, an exciting special feature being introduced to Foodex Meatex 2006 as part of the William Reed commitment to revitalise the show Designed to give visitors a glimpse of the sciences and technologies that will create the future for food producers, FP Faraday is supporting the feature, in Hall 11 of Foodex Meatex at the NEC from March 19-22, as part of its commitment to help improve the UK's food manufacturing industry

It will be exhibiting its highly versatile spinning disk reactor as a real world example of how practical, cost effective, new technology can significantly improve food manufacture and product attributes.

Also on show will be its three dimensional moulder and low shear mixer for blending and mixing of soft and sticky materials.

FP Faraday Partnership Technology Translators will also be on hand to discuss manufacturing issues and help provide answers to visitors' questions.

Visitors will also be able to view a range of exhibits from universities and far-sighted companies on the technologies that will impact on the future of the food manufacturing sector.

Abar Automation and Bizerba UK will be adding some fun to the event with the Abar Automation golfing robot which will demonstrate perfect chips and putts but with an "unorthodox swing!" Visitors will also learn more about the serious side of providing innovative, reliable and robust end-of-line solutions.

Millitec Food Systems (MFS) will be challenging exhibitors to bring delicate food products to be sliced on its revolutionary ultrasound slicer.

And Crafty Tech will be exhibiting one of its latest innovative prototypes, a steerable roller and stabiliser.

The roller gives real time control of lateral motion across a roller bed to give converging, diverging or biasing product flows.

The Centraliser provides minimal contact re-positioning based on the centre of gravity to ensure equal weight portions when cutting radially.

The feature will be backed by the FP Faraday and Food Manufacture Food Futures seminar sessions, which take place within the PACK-IT 'Processing-meets-Packaging' Special Feature in Hall 10 The exhibition will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from 19-22 March 2006.
