Self-contained for easy installation with no need for pipework, Modula Plus Automatic Fire Suppression units contain Novec 1230 fire protection fluid, an environmentally safe Halon replacement

Self-contained for easy installation with no need for pipework, the new "Modula Plus" MP-2-000 Automatic Fire Suppression units from Firemaster contain Novec 1230 fire protection fluid, an environmentally safe Halon replacement with the added benefit of being a sustainable material having no known lifespan limitations.

Operating automatically at 68C (+/-5deg) with a 360deg discharge pattern, these stored pressure units have been designed to provide easy low-cost maintenance.

They are suitable for B and C fire classifications plus surface Class A fires, and are safe for use on electrical equipment.

Electrically-operated units are available for the protection of computer rooms, electrical switchgear, telephone exchanges, etc, to be installed in a modular concept in conjunction with conventional detection and control equipment.

Mechanically operated units are also available for special risks such as machinery spaces, test beds, glove boxes and fume cupboards.

The "Modula Plus" range is available in capacities from 2.5kg to15kg.

The clean Novec fluid is an effective fire extinguishing agent in standard fire scenarios where Halons were historically employed.

It has low global warming potential, low atmospheric life and zero ozone depletion.

Made in the UK under BS EN ISO 9002 Quality Management, the units are CE marked in conformance with Pressure Equipment Regulations 1999 (SI 1999 No 2001) and European PED 97/23/EC.

They are supplied with a one-year warranty and come with substantial brackets with stainless steel overcentre clips.
