New Festo stockist for Bolton and Oldham

Flexible Hose Supplies adds pneumatics to its portfolio - providing a stocking service for Bolton and Oldham.

The industrial component supplier Flexible Hose Supplies (FHS) has been appointed as a Premier Stockist by the pneumatics leader Festo.

FHS will support the Bolton and Oldham areas, holding commonly-needed pneumatic automation components in stock - backed by a trade counter and delivery service.

The company is also linked into the Festo online ordering system.

This gives it access to GBP30 million of pneumatics stock available for next-day delivery anywhere in the UK.

FHS has extensive experience in the food, pharmaceutical and petrochemical processing industries - and brings considerable expertise to this new pneumatic product line, as its parent company Flexible Hose Services of Slough has been a Festo stockist for several years, and is a significant UK player in the industrial hose business - with experience stretching back 25 years.

"We have built our business thanks to the close attention we pay to customers' needs", says Gary Shaw of FHS.

"We operate a sophisticated monitoring service that ensures we maintain stock levels and fine-tune the stock profile to meet local demand, and we are happy to hold stock for OEMs and regular customers to avoid delays".
