Mercury Bearings expands in pneumatic components

Mercury Bearings, the specialist industrial component and equipment supplier, has been appointed a 'Premier Stockist' for Festo pneumatic products in the east end of London

Mercury Bearings, the specialist industrial component and equipment supplier, has been appointed a 'Premier Stockist' by Festo.

The appointment grants Mercury Bearings exclusive distribution rights for Festo pneumatic products in the east end of London.

As a result, the company now has direct access to over GBP33 million worth of stock held at the Festo customer services centre in Germany.

According to Ian Gemson, Festo Business Development Manager, "Mercury Bearings is a professional, service-oriented company.

Founded in 1988, it has a superb track record in meeting its customers' needs, and has established an enviable reputation with many leading industrial companies based in and around London's east end".

Chris Clayden, one of Mercury Bearings two Directors and Manager of the company's Enfield branch, is also pleased with this outcome, "We are proud to be associated with the UK's leading pneumatics supplier, and direct call-off from the Festo facilities in Germany will enable us to further accelerate our customer response times.".
