According to Fieldbus Centre Director Chuck Carter, 'Fieldbus for Sales Professionals' helps control system and instrumentation suppliers prepare their staff for selling and servicing digital process control systems.
'This course makes it easier for vendors to take advantage of the expanding global market for fieldbus products,' said Carter: 'Instead of devoting time and resources to developing their own sales training curriculum, suppliers can enroll their personnel at the Fieldbus Centre and receive expert guidance on deploying fieldbus on a wide range of industrial automation projects'.
Those attending the 'Fieldbus for Sales Professionals' course will learn how to justify expenditures on fieldbus controls, added Carter, as well as answer customer questions about returns on technology investments.
The new sales professional course is part of the Fieldbus Centre's comprehensive training curriculum covering digital control technology.
The Fieldbus Foundation, a not-for-profit industry consortium consisting of over 350 leading process and manufacturing automation companies worldwide, certifies the Centre's Foundation fieldbus courses.
