Speakers at the public session on Thursday, February 22, include:.
Opening Address * Rich Timoney, from the Fieldbus Foundation, with an opening address "FOUNDATION Fieldbus Infrastructure Management".
* Tim Haley, from Corning: "Open, Scalable Integration".
* John Rezabek, from ISP "Process Integrity".
* Herman Storey, from Shell Global Solutions "Business Intelligence".
End User Case Studies will be presented by:.
* Mike Miller, of Duke Energy: "Nuclear perspective on a FOUNDATION Fieldbus application".
* Robert Rounding, of British Petroleum (BP) "Fieldbus - Made for SCADA at BP Wamsutter Wyoming".
Other speakers will follow.
Following the technical presentations, an evening reception will feature Larry O'Brien, research director in process automation at the ARC Advisory Group, who will present a keynote address entitled, "Beyond the Bus: FOUNDATION Fieldbus Is An Open and Integrated Automation Infrastructure".
A silent auction will also be held to benefit the James Gray / Fieldbus Foundation Scholarship Fund.
On Friday, February 23, the Fieldbus Foundation will conduct its annual business meeting for members only.
